As a newbie would you say you have more of an erotic session by someone else being in control of the power I've tried pushing the limits of power but feel if someone else was in control I would enjoy it more I want to go further but I dont have the nerve.

I don't know if it is so much about not having the nerve to go further when you are in control of the stimulation yourself. Personally, I do find I enjoy playing more when someone else is in control of the box but also, I find partner play more erotic then solo play, so I think that plays a role in it also.
