Hot spots/burning sensation

I've got a electroflex tubular ring. I'm getting multiple hotspots in differenet places around the ring. I'm using plenty plenty of the electro lube. I've also tried olive oil, as Anna once recommended. Once the ring is thoroughly lubed, I can rotate the ring around and get those hotspots in different areas - they move.

The ring has never been exposed to silicone lube, so why is this happening?

Have you trimmed the ring to fit you tightly when you're fully erect? It almost sounds like you might have bad contact.

It's not loose. It's snug around scrotum and the cock. When erect, I can't even get my lubed pinky to slip in between the ring and skin.

Are you telling me I need to trim it more, so that it fits even tighter?

I had the same problem and keep trimming to get rid of the hotspot to a point that I gave and tried a different combo
