Q: I live outside the US and I want to buy the PES Power Box but what is the power supply for the unit outside the US?
A: While the PES Power Box will work with a 9 volt battery, you may find it more effective with an adapter. Obviously the adapter we provide for use in the US may not work where you are located. The following is the text from the Power Box Instruction Manual regarding the matter:
Overseas 220 volt A/C Adapters (NOT supplied by P.E.S., Inc.)
The P.E.S. Power Box is manufactured to operate on a standardized U.S. electrical current.
In order for Overseas Customers to operate the P.E.S. Power Box properly an A/C Adapter must be purchased which steps down the voltage and current to a 12 volt DC 500mAmp output. The adapter (plug) must be center pole positive on the inlet of the adapter jack of the P.E.S. Power Box. Please use the appropriate adapter for your country.
P.E.S., Inc. is not responsible for the misuse of the adapter and voltage guidelines set forth in this notice. In the event these guidelines are violated, all warranties on the P.E.S. Power Box will be null and void.
Any questions should be addressed to customer service (pesquestions@peselectro.com).
