I have had a basic PES set for about a year. I have a power box, a corona stimulator, and a mid-ring.

Within the last few months, I notice that the power box loses power, and the signal becomes weak and sensation is lost. I use all the equipment following guidelines, and I have standard US outlet power supply. Everything is plugged in as instructed.

Sometimes the signal will temporarily come back, but after a few seconds it dies away again. It seems to have gotten worse the past month.

I have never submerged the power box, I only clean it with a damp cloth after use. Could this cause damage to it? All the electrodes have plenty of lube when I use it, and the leads all appear to be in good working order, there is no apparent damage.

What could cause loss of signal like that? Can I send the box in for a possible repair?

One more question, what lube are you using on the electrodes?

It does sound like you do need to send it in for us to check it out. Repair is possible. There may be charges which really depends on what is wrong with the unit. We can test it and see what is wrong and then let you know your options.

A few things could happen. We may be able to repair it fairly easily. We can exchange it for a refurbished unit if it cannot be repaired. Or we can exchange it for a new power box.

But before we jump too far ahead, clean up your box. Box it up with its leads and ac adapter. Include a letter explaining in detail what happens when you use the unit and make sure you also include your contact information so we can get in touch as soon as we have some idea of your options.

Address the box as follows:

PES, Inc
Attn: Repair
1509 West Oakey Blvd
Las Vegas, NV 89102

I will keep an eye out for your package.

Later!
